New Delhi, Jaipur and Jodhpur Tour Itinerary
Day 1
Upon arrival at Delhi Airport/Railway station transfer to your hotel. This afternoon you will proceed for a sightseeing tour of Old & New Delhi, visit the visit the Qutub Minar, tallest stone tower in India. Drive past the imposing India Gate and the Rastrapathi Bhawan, Red fort & Jama Masjid. Evening is at leisure, optionally you may visit the Red fort for sound and light show. Overnight at Delhi.
Day 2
Today you will drive to Mughal city Agra. Arrive and check into your hotel. This afternoon visit the Agra fort, Built by the great Emperor Akbar, proceed to the Taj Mahal, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. This evening is at leisure for shopping and individual activities. Overnight at Agra.
Day 3
Today you will be transferred to the pink city of Jaipur, enroute you will stop to visit Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted red sandstone city built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar. Proceed to your hotel rest of the day is at leisure. This evening you may optionally visit to Chokhi Dhani, an ethnic Rajaasthani village located on the outskirts of Jaipur, overnight at Jaipur.
Day 4
Today you will visit the Amber fort, built in 16th century, enjoy an elephant ride at Amber. Drive past the Hawa Mahal, a Palace of winds. In the afternoon you will visit the city palace and museum, walk to adjacent Jantar Mantar an astronomical observatory. Rest of the evening is at leisure, overnight at Jaipur.
Day 5
Today you will be transferred to Jodhpur, enroute you will stop to visit the holy towns of Pushkar & Ajmer. Visit the Pushkar lake & a Brahma temple in Jodhpur while in Ajmer visit the Dargaha of Salim Chisti. Evening is at leisure, overnight at Jodhpur.
Day 6
Today you will visit the Majestic Mehrangarh Fort, sprawled across a 125 meter high hill and is the most impressive and formidable fort in the fort-studded Rajasthan, continue to Jaswant Thada a cluster of Royal cenotaphs built in 1899. Overnight at Jodhpur.
Day 7
Today you will drive to Udaipur enroute stopping at Ranakpur, a famous Jain pilgrimage destination known for its exquisitely carved Jain temples and most famous hall of 1444 pillars. Arrive and proceed to your hotel, Rest of the day is at leisure, overnight Udaipur.
Day 8
This morning proceed for a sightseeing tour of Udaipur visit to the City palace and museum, proceed to Jagdish temple and lastly visit the Sahelion Ki Bari “Gardens of the Maidens”. Rest of the day is at leisure for shopping and individual activities, overnight at Udaipur.
Day 9
Today you will depart Udaipur for your onward journey back home.
